![]() This to us, is the tricky part of the set up/design of this document.Ĥ) Be able to plan 7 days in advance, having a summary sheet that consolidates all of our daily choices and meals in a tabular form. Additionally, we would know that item would be meeting the requirements of 1 protein, and 2 vegetables. On a different workbook we would have the ingredients listed. Ideally, the drop down would just be for 'meals', and the option selected would be spinach salad. For example, on the attached data workbook (tab 'Menu 2'), we had a spinach salad for dinner. We would like to be able to do this by looking at values from another sheet if a meal (rather than a singular food item) is selected. We would have a different list for each food group (See 'Approved Foods' tab on the attached document).Ģ) Ensure that our daily intake meets the daily requirements (5 proteins, 3 veggies, 2 fruits). We have researched some available meals, and attempted to incorporate those into the spreadsheet.ġ) Have one sheet with the meals for that day displayed where we can choose from a drop down one meal or food item from an available list, and have the calories displayed. ![]() Phase 1 has a list of available foods, all which fall into different categories.ġ) The calorie count be as close to 1,000 as possibleĢ) The individual eats 5 times per day (Breakfast, AM Snack, Lunch, PM Snack, and Dinner).ģ) The individual consumes 5 proteins (1 per eating time), as well as 3 veggies and 2 fruits per day (which can each be consumed at any meal). ![]() I've attached a document of what we have so far. I'm trying to use Excel to help us stay on track, meal plan, and grocery shop.
